I have been in acupuncture practice since 1973, when I trained with Dr. Nguyen Van Gai in Marseilles, France. In 1978, I became a certified acupuncturist in California by examination. Started to practice acupuncture as Research Professor of Biomechanics in the Dept. of Orthopedic Surgery, Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, LA. In 1978, moved to a similar position at the University of Iowa. In 1993, founded the University of Northern California in Petaluma, CA. In 2008, the University moved to Santa Rosa, CA.
