Profile:
Hello my name is Esmeralda, I work as a farmer in Spain.
A farmer is someone who works under the umbrella of
agriculture, producing a variety of food products for human
and animal consumption. There are several types of farmers
ranging from farmers who raise animals to farmers who grow
crops.
The main objective of a farmer is to produce a good crop
and/or healthy animals to make a living and feed the
population. Farmers are responsible for all the crops and
livestock that are necessary for us to survive. Without food,
the world would slowly die, and farmers work hard every day to
keep a lot of crops and animal products in the marketplace to
prevent that from happening.A farmer has several responsibilities within his particular
field. Whether it's buying and planting seed on a commercial
crop farm, buying a quality breeder on an animal breeding
farm, or feeding and caring for a specific type of livestock
on an animal production farm, a farmer needs to have a broad
knowledge base of the agricultural industry as a whole. In addition to general knowledge of planting dates, breeding
cycles and harvest periods, a farmer often needs a good
knowledge of mechanics to keep his equipment running and in
optimal order. He needs a great deal of practical knowledge of the
limitations and regulations of the various state agencies and
local government, as there are many regulations in the
agricultural industry. It is based on which area of the
agricultural industry you choose to work in. These are just a
few of the many options available, such as fish farming,
commercial agriculture, livestock and livestock production.https://www.sistemasriego.es/es/36-herramientas-
