Joseph Yang

Dr. Joseph Yang received his Bachelors and Masters Degree at the Chinese Medicine University of Heilongjiang in China and went on to receive his Ph.D. in Psychiatry/Neuroscience at Kobe University in Japan

Dr. Joseph Yang served as a faculty member and a medical doctor at the Traditional Chinese Medicine University of Heilongjiang in Harbin, China. During his tenure he worked in the national leveled projects of pattern medicine and liver disease in China. He was invited and elected as the representative of Young Psychiatrists and attended the 1996 international meeting in Shanghai, China. His paper was published in the US journal of the Society of Biological Psychiatry in 1998 as a featured topic. Dr. Yang is a research group member of the East-West Medicine Center of UCLA. He has published over twenty papers and books in psychiatry and Traditional Chinese Medicine and is currently teaching classes for master and doctoral programs as well as Continuing Education Unit seminars.
