Meridian: Small Intestine	Reference Source:	Point Location: CAM Anterior to the tragus and posterior to the condyloid process of the mandible, in the depression formed when the mouth is open. Deadman With the mouth open, this point is located in the depression between the middle tragus and the condyloid process of the mandible. How To Find It In order to locate this point ask the patiend to open the mouth so that the condyloid process of the mandible slides forwards to reveal the depression.
Innervation: The branch of the facial nerve, the auriculotemporal nerve.	Vasculature: The auricular branches of the superficial temporal artery and vein.
Cautions: avoid use with Moxa No cautions at this time	Technique: CAM Puncture perpendicularly 0.5-1.0 inch when the mouth is open. Deadman 1. Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1 cun. 2. Needle with the mouth open; following insertion of the needle the patient may close their mouth.
