How To Find It
When the shoulder is relaxed the three cun line corresponds to medial border of the scapula.
Innervation
Innervation:
Superficially, the medial cutaneous branches of the posterior rami of the first and second thoracic nerves, the accessory nerve; deeper, the dorsal scapular nerve.
Vasculature
Vasculature:
Deeper, the transverse cervical artery and vein.
Cautions
Cautions:
Risk of inducing pneumothorax with perpendicular insertion, especially in thin patients.

Puncture obliquely 0.3-0.7 inch.
