Meridian: Large Intestine	Reference Source:	Point Location: CAM On the radial side of the wrist. When the thumb is tilted upward, it is in the depression between the tendons m. extensor pollicis longus and brevis. Deadman On the radial side of the wrist, in the center of the hollow formed by the tendons of extensor pollicis longus and brevis (anatomical snuffbox). How To Find It 1. Ask the subject to extend the thumb to emphasize the hollow of the anatomical snuffbox. 2. Look carefully to locate the cephalic vein which runs through the anatomical snuffbox in order to avoid needling through the vein.
Innervation: The superficial ramus of the radial nerve.	Vasculature: The cephalic vein, the radial artery and its dorsal carpal branch.
Cautions: No cautions at this time	Technique: CAM Puncture perpendicularly 0.3-0.5 inch. Deadman Perpendicular insertion of 0.5 to 1 cun.
